How can I tell if someone is using me for my money?

Well, first and foremost, getting in the habit of trying to decide for whether people are using you is just kind of negative energy, it’s being protective, being guarded, being kind of this face, you know, of like “I don’t know if I trust you.” Not trusting, I guess, is really what it comes down to. And so, granted, people may use you for your money, they may not, and to be honest, it doesn’t really matter in the long run. The most important thing is for you to not have to be in that state of having to protect and having to be in this energy. The idea is how do you become an unconditional giver, someone who is of love, and who is of acceptance, and of compassion, that if someone is using you for your money, or trying to use you for your money, that you’re less focused on having to protect yourself, and more focused on how you can be love and compassion to those people that who need to do that.

So in sum, change your focus. If you focus on giving unconditionally, you’re gonna care less about protecting yourself and you’ll feel more comfortable in your own skin.
